Simplicity is the best way to be understood

In a complex logistics world, it is up to us to make difficult things simple.

“And yet it works out every time with Van de Kamp,” says Teun Vleeming of EuroParcs Living. Teun is purchasing manager at EuroParcs Living and handles complete home furnishings for the vacation parks. EuroParcs owns 48 vacation parks in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria and Germany. They work with Van de Kamp in renovating existing parks and designing new ones.

The right partnership

Vleeming was looking for a partner to help think of smart solutions for logistics and warehousing when furnishing the vacation homes. “I got into a conversation with Joep van de Kamp and noticed pretty quickly that we were cut from the same cloth. Joep says what he does and does what he says and that is very convenient,” Vleeming said.

Doing what they promise

“For us, it’s important that we have enough stock to furnish the homes,” Vleeming continued. “We have a lot of furniture stored at Van de Kamp in Druten. When a number of homes need to be furnished again, I only have to call the planners Erwin and Paul and the transport with the right contents is scheduled and executed. By now, half a word is enough. It is also not unusual that the drivers sign in on arrival and help unload when they arrive at the parks. That helps tremendously and relieves us at the same time”.

According to general director Joep van de Kamp is simplicity and constant service the way to be understood. “It’s great that we found each other in this! We hope for a long collaboration and many more holiday parks,” says Van de Kamp.
