Successful together for 40 years

The partnership between furniture manufacturer Het Anker and International Transport Company Van de Kamp began 40 years ago and has only grown stronger since. This long-standing relationship is built on mutual trust and efficiency, benefiting both companies. In the early days, Het Anker produced heavy oak furniture, which Van de Kamp primarily transported to Germany. Today, Het Anker has evolved into a versatile furniture manufacturer, while Van de Kamp has grown into a stable, internationally operating furniture transport company. Thanks to this collaboration, both companies can focus on their core activities, continuing to grow and innovate.

In the early stages, Van de Kamp only handled the transportation of the furniture. Today, the two companies are fully integrated. The furniture is picked up directly, stored dry and safely in warehouses, and then delivered precisely on time to dealers across Europe.

The direct collection and consolidation of furniture make the partnership financially attractive and highly efficient. This allows Het Anker to optimize all available space for design, showroom, and production.  

This seamless collaboration enables both companies to focus on their core activities. Het Anker produces beautiful furniture, while Van de Kamp ensures Just-in-Time delivery to the dealers. By continuously working on innovative solutions, further digitalization, and strengthening each other's strategies, the partnership remains successful and enjoyable.

Ons bedrijf begon in de jaren ’30 als foerage-handel. Toen de rietindustrie verdween, bloeide de meubelindustrie op. Dit bood ons de kans om een betrouwbare vervoerspartner te worden voor meubelproducenten en detaillisten.
